Its been a while since I've been on here... The last few weeks have been spent with family, hunting... building rifles, and holiday festivities. I haven't spent much time at all on the Z, or any other vehicle for that matter. We did finish up the intake manifold for Christine's Z, which just so happens to be on the cover of this month's Import Tuner... major props.

We coated the runners black since these photos and it makes a huge difference in the appearance. I'll post a few more photos tonight of the finished result if I have a minute.

really hoping you dont put any on your z.

when are you going to finish this monster?!?!

i know you cant rush perfection, but you better try!

    still sub'd! <3
Believe me, I'm trying... The lack of endless funds, other builds/projects, the time required to figure certains aspects out... hell, life in general... tend to play against me:-)

No ITB's for this manifold... see below. And yes, do stay tuned:-)

Thank you! More to come on the frame shortly. Until then, a little intake manifold action. I don't believe I've posted much intake manifold work as of yet, however it is another facet of ours.

The intake manifold started out as the stock 280Z unit, or piece of junk you see posted in the photos above. We've stripped it of all casting markings on the top, and wire cleaned the underside to a like-new finish. The runners were completely ported and polished (yes, polished...more pics to come later) and the new plenum is welded. The finish work will continue tonight, and the plenum will be welded to the runner and baseplate tomorrow morning.
