You know what would be a cool swap that would be relatively cheap, easy to make power with, with accessible replacement/aftermarket parts at a reasonable cost? Oh, an sr20...
With that being said, this car needs the following (in the SR20)
Some BC272 cams
BC valvetrain
Rocker arm stoppers
Aftermarket IM (greddy likely)
JWT disco potato turbo
Injectors
FMIC
Bov/ external wg
Tubular manifold
Greddy intake elbow
z32 maf
And be done. High revving, small(ish) turbo car, reminiscent of the roots of the vehicle.Originally posted by FluidMotorUnionFuck Rotas, I'd rather my wheels not break apart when I drive over a watermelon seed.

The interior was actually an accident. I was removing the dash to dye it black and it shattered from old age. That's when I decided last minute to glue it back together and use the plaid. It is not tweed. Just plain fabric. If the dashes were easier to come by It would already be fixed, but I don't mind it for now.Originally posted by Tuck&Poke View Postyea, i feel the same way
.....and no. Stock SR, Stock reliability. No tuning. Only mods I will have is a HKS BOV, custom piping, and a custom stainless manifold to clear the AE86 rack.Originally posted by Lt. Parts have been coming in all week. If it weren't for IA being in November I would go ahead and strip her down and get started but I don't want to risk not being there.
She will definitely be at the spring meet all finished up
Will post engine swap pics after IA but prob not to many updates until then.

Well here lies the problem. I do love the original metal smiley but only when you run a front chin spoiler. The 75 model year in the US is different than any other year Celica as it is the original Chassis with a 20R, hence the taller hood. They added an additional front crossmember under the radiator for this year also that does not leave clearance for a chin spoiler. This is why for now I have kept the stock bumpers on and just modified them.Originally posted by Capone View PostI love old schools! But yours needs moar smiley face to perfect it.
