This is a sweet build man, Ive owned a 72" Ta22 with 3t conversion and now have an e30 with sr20det for my daily. You are going to have traction issues. scary traction issues. Love what you've done keeping it clean and looking like it was meant to have left the factoy that way. have you considered B45 simmons wheels, i had em and they suit the shape but i'm biased. keep it up!

No new updates yet, but for those that follow the build on my website here is some new info:
The website for the Celica now has a new domain. Everything can now be found at The75Celica.com. Everything from BDrifting.com will now be forwarded to the new domain. Was a change that should have been made from the beginning. Enjoy the new site!

Have you had the 8.8 narrowed? If so how much did you narrow it?
Thanks

Well, after a long wait the 75 should finally be back under the knife by tomorrow. Getting the engine mounted, all the custom brackets made, fuel system installed, and hopefully still have room for the rear end to get assembled.
Can't promise at this point if she will be back on the road quite yet but she will for sure have a lot more progress. Still a long ways until she is finished including interior and the new wheel setup.
Expect more updates soon on the website.

Well after a long Summer its finally time to get back to work on the car!
Dropped her off yesterday at Deft Motion to get the engine and transmission brackets made. Will also be fabricating the trans tunnel to accommodate the new shifter position. Ordered a Spec Stage 2 Clutch and Billet Flywheel to be installed along with all new oem clutch release parts. Once the engine is permanently mounted I will start the wiring install. Fuel System will be installed next. Went with the Aeromotive stealth 15g fuel cell with a 340lph pump. The rear end I hope to have completed next, and then it will be installed so I can get the measurements for the driveshaft and finish up the brake lines.
Only thing I may be lacking at this moment is the new turbo setup. Still undecided. After engine is in and fitment is worked out I will make the order so I can get her fired up.
Only other things lacking to complete the car will be getting all the gauges, wiring the lights and column, finishing the interior, and the final exterior assembly.

There has been a big development with the car this last week.
I had sent the car out to Deft Motion to have the engine mounted in the car. It was very disappointing to find that the engine was not going to fit without the firewall being heavily modified. I have put so much hard work into this car, just to cut it up and modify everything again was not an option for me. I figured it was time for some drastic changes.
I have decided the car has been down way too long. To avoid any more disappointment I have decided to stick with the stock 20R Drivetrain and enjoy the car for what it it and what it stands for. Means everything to me and the only other option was to let it go. The good news however is that the 20R going in the car is no plain old used 20R. Going with a Brand New Toyota 22r so there are no issues and everything is as mint as the rest of the car. Dual Weber side drafts, a W50 trans, and "maybe" high comp pistons, and a cam should be nice also. Even better news is that it will all bolt right up.
Time to get this car back to its roots and back out on the road.
Today the car also received a good final buff and polish so the exterior will not start being assembled here. Here is a pic. Enjoy!
