I'm sure you probably already know this but just incase you don't:

This forum is a great resource for info about sidedraft carbs, itb's, and engine management. There's quite a few guys who really know there stuff in there. It helped me out quite a bit when I was retrofitting my gsxr throttle bodies on my old gti.
    When in doubt, flat out

i was wondering when i was going to see this hehe.

the rear is going to be lowered down and i am going to switch to 15x8 in the rear but the car isn't going to be super slammed for a couple of reasons. First there is no tunnel for the exhaust since the floor is basically flat which hurts ground clearance. second because of what kind of suspension setup there is in the front (transverse leaf) i can't really go lower unless i create some sort of drop shackle on each side. that however kills the suspension geometry and handling. i might try and convert it to a coil spring setup but i have no idea if i will be able to...

don't worry it will look and handle fine in the end

                  ooooo those are hot!

that last ones makes me want to go black really really really bad.

so for wheels i am going back and forth on doing 15" or 16" as of right now i most likely wont have the extra funds to go something totally different which would mean a pair of 92s that are 8" wide but if i can manage it i would like to do a 15x8 15x9 setup since wheel choices are so plentiful for 4x100

i came across these today and they are giving me ideas...

yeah they are rotas but they can be had in the specs i would like hehe

dyno did not go as well as i would have hoped. found out that my rev counter is WAY off. when you can feel the motor cut out the tach says 7k but according to the signal wire i am only at 4.5k...

as a result the car is only putting out 94hp to the wheels.

in the grand scheme of things it isn't a big deal. i was planing on rewiring the car and putting in a new ignition control, fuel pump, and tachometer when i switched over to side drafts as hopefully when that is all done we should be in business

well i think we figured out what was wrong with the car. the intake and exhaust manifolds were only hand tight. drives soooooooooo much better now might have to throw it back on the dyno.

i have also worked out how to change the front suspension over to a coilover setup... i like being low
