Thanks! Perhaps he still has my dimensions, as it fits well. I plan on adding a diagonal for main hoop and harness bar, so you should get it with those to start.Originally posted by XThirtySeven View PostVery nice build. I am actually building an E36 Vert myself and this is super inspirational. Glad to see you have a roll bar and thank you for posting info on where you got it I've been searching for a place to get one. Your build is killer! Still doing a color change?
I'd like to do a color change, just still a ways down the list.
Thanks!Originally posted by NickL View PostI love this car so much haha.
I plan on always keeping the non-M bumper. I may change it up to a '92 bumper though.Originally posted by Hella_RICH View PostLove that you kept the front bumper
My second attempt at drifting is this weekend, so been getting it ready for that. Huge thanks to my awesome bro Clay for all his help and wizard skills!
Did a quick refinish on the OZs. I planned on keeping it simple with white, but the wife really wanted something bright.

Picked up a CNC 412 staging brake. Supposed to be a pretty nice unit and much better than the china/ebay hydros. Clay made a bracket out of some angle steel and welded it to tunnel. Still need to paint it white at some point.

Wheels are mounted up and lines ran for the hand brake. Just need to bleed the system, remove rear sway and raise the front coils a bit.

Pretty stoked on how the drift event went! The promoter was amazing and did about 5 hours of classroom instruction the day before the event, so I had the info, just needed to put it to practice.
Started out on the small beginner course (all I did at my first event in Nov.) and couldn't get anything going. Frustrated, I went to the main course to try it out. On the second pass, I was drifting most of the 2nd big corner and having a blast! I could only get the first main corner decent every few times (either spin or understeer on other passes), but felt like I had good control and angle on second corner all day.
Easily the most fun I've had in a car! Huge thanks to Aaron Losey and everyone else at Lone Star Drift for putting on an awesome event and class! Also, enjoyed hanging out and giving my friends and wife rides, so thanks to my wife Stacy, Clay (clay), Shaun (vgrntbeauxner), Jason (gundy315) and Leo (vdubsunday) for coming out!
Here's what the car looked like just before the event. Should have some action shots soon (I hope).

And here is video of probably my best 2 passes:
