Nice progress. I had a mx6 that i converted many years ago. If the 1.6 you have is the FS block i have a stainless steel headers with i t4 turbo flange and external wastegate you could get cheap. Been collecting dust for ages and it would be nice to see it be used

Yes that would probably be really nice, bit of a mission though putting the sidelight/indicator into the headlight though, might have to think that one through some more.
Onto the more recent work, oil pan no.3 fitted now with some really expensive sealant pleased to report no leaks though and very happy with my new 4.5mm stainless guard which fitted up lovely.
Have also slotted out the rear struts by 3mm = 2.4 degrees of negative camber, Ok not huge by today's standards but gives me just the clearance I need nowI can always file out more some other day.
Used a round file first then got greedy and just went for it with a drill! Hope it holds up nicely with this
serrated flange nut.
Really had forgetten how much I love stickers too, previous cars I have covered in them! These are just a few of my favourite things (apart from sucking my own DOHC that is!) Got a few more on order including a prism effect Shark an more old skool skate decals...

Cheers Bro yeah the camber is a nice touch I'm into it! Might have to throw a little in the front now using the same method.
So now the major cosmetic work is done and tbh I am pretty much done with it! Time to concentrate on the Turbz. Got some one in US hopefully sorting me out a flywheel so I can get it surface ground (and maybe lightened) ready to fit early next year for a 500mile break in period. Last few sundries on order including black Mikalor hose clamps, Lambda boss & bung, 20mm Black hose finishers for the oil line, Downpipe security nuts and the Injectors sent off for an ultrasonic clean.
Taking this to work Monday fro some weldage...

Yeah at the moment the look very bulky however they do need a fair amount of trimming to fit up nicely to the bodywork. I would also pull them in at the bottom to meet the sill nicely and retain the factory lines somewhat or even straight cut them 3 quarters way down at the back.
Got to stop looking at sexy cars on the interweb! These are whats done it..
But yeah that cut&fill technique you posted is really quite alluring as well, thanks!
