Speaking of which, I'm picking up a GT grille from another Brick guy down here in New Mexico, I'd be willing to sell it if it went to this car.

Again, big love from the Volvo guys down here in Albuquerque. Keep doin' work.
awesome...idk if id go back to the gt front since my fogs were destroyed but u should totally swap urs if u can get the parts...do work bro!!

I definitely plan on going back to the single-rounds the car was originally equipped with - currently my 242 has a late-'80s wagon "Lincoln" nose on it, which is different, but not my flavor. As far as the GT grille, I may be able to get the brackets and fogs as well - if not, no biggie, I'll just fab up some brackets and toss in some old Marchal/IPF dogs I have left over fom a TurboCoupe thunderbird project I helped a friend with.

Thanks again for the inspiration. Keep doin' work bro.

Sweet 242 man! The stance on it right now is just about perfect. I might go to SOWO as well with the 144.....We could have a volvo lineup!

wow its been a while since i update this...ive had a new addiction (my ruckus) so i slowed down on the volvo a bit but sowo being right around the corner i started putting in work again

got the trim shaved off the sides, ordered paint, got body work done, n finally got the car painted. its not perfect (body shop did a garbage job + the day we sprayed it, it started raining halfway through the process) but it looks better then before. eventually itll get painted all over again

so i went with something different on the color...FLAT METALLIC SILVER ...no not primer lol

plus my new headlights came in today

i got some more parts on the way...just toching up the trim n front end, put the car together n get the new suspension set up on n ill be pretty much set...new exhaust set up is on the list too...just cutting it close for the sowo deadline
