thought I should add an update to this now, as it seems the claim is going through smoothly...

last weekend whilst stopped at some traffic lights, i was rear ended by a lady who did not even attempt to slow down.



not going into much detail yet, but i can say the car has been written off. just trying to agree a value on it now for the payout. well and truly devastated to say the least.

IMO it depends of how low you can go...

if you can lower the car, 17" would look (even) better

Thanks Stu, yeah it sold, for little money at all.

Wheels will go, I've bought some OZ Mito, 3pc ones. currently 17x8 ET20ish, 17x9.5 ET10.

Ripping off the lips on the 8s (about 2 inch) to replace with some 4-5inch ones giving me a nice set of 9.5/10.5-11s. Polished lips and undecided on centres yet.

Cars currently broken, clutch pedal bracket I hope, but might be the master cylinder.

just get lower. E24 and E31 are my favorite bimmers. wish i had one.. the closest i could get to that was E32 lol
