I think older cars look good when the rear is tucked and front is right on the rim but newer cars I prefer with even wheel to arch gap or it looks like it's boating imo

I love rake with a passion. Why people think it doesn't look good is beyond me, wheel to fender distance has to be even all around. Rake comes naturally because of that.
