Thanks guys! Feels good to see hard work and dedication be appreciated. As for what's next, I want to do bodywork and paint (although its not in bad shape for original paint I think), and replace that kia drivers side axle with a custom one so I can lower the front without binding the axle. It works but its also still slightly too long.

Oh and the old B6 had an iron block but the KL is all aluminum. I picked up virtually no weight but gained over 100whp. Good trade off I think. Lol

Wow, this is awesome dude. Seems like you had to deal with some shady people between that "custom" axle and the leaky injectors. Either way, you stuck with it and made it happen. Any future plans?

                pure envy

over at my side of the world, the Masda 323 is a legend reserved for the true afficionados.

i envy you and the engine on that 323.

                kudos!

Thanks guys. Yeah I took a few chances to try to save money, but I learned the hard way about spending the money and doing it right the first time, lol. I really just want to paint it and go lower, but I'm starting to get the itch to go faster again, so I might be building another V6 to drop in there, or doing a little bit more work to this one.

                      Isla Filipinas (aka The Philippines).

The average gearhead here could get their hands on Mazdas (626, 323 ... Mazda 6s are ultra rare here and only millionaires could get their hands on one straight from Japan),

yours is a beauty! over here, with the V6 engine and spotless interiors, it could fetch around $6,000. Kia Pride (my first used car and probably the only car I'll own) set me back $2,000 and that's prior to restoring the car () - I'll start a thread soon once I get all my pictures in a folder and wrestling my wife off MY laptop.

You guys have ground clearance below 1" ... we have it set at 7", any lower could spell trouble specially with the above-standard speedbumps, deep ruts and notorious street flooding. Love the slammed look

Thanks man. Don't feel bad, this build just about killed any motivation to work on cars, especially in the heat. lol

From the first day of that first KL sitting on the tire to the second KL in and running was all during a 5 month span. I worked on it almost every spare moment I had. Almost lost my girlfriend over it. lol

I've got a set of DE cams that will be getting reground when I get some money. What grind is that? 210?

As for boost, eh who knows. I'm enjoying all motor right now.

It put down 163whp and 162tq, but I had the harness incorrectly hooked up. Ran like shit basically. Lol I'm not sure what it puts down now.
