Haven't updated this in awhile with me moving to a new house and stuff. Today I talked to a friend who is going to fabricate my manifold. He's a huge Ford V8 guy so he has a bunch of parts laying around, particularly 5.4L parts. I noticed one of his Lightning blowers he had on the shelf. After brainstorming with it going on the 323 I decided that I want to do it. So I'm going to go with a M112 off a '01+ Lightning with a stock 5.4L midplate welded to a KL manifold.
Now I know your probably like this blower is overkill for a KL, but I think it will actually be more efficient seeing that its considerably larger than the M62. Larger rotors/area = cooler air, which is great since I won't have space to run an intercooler. Plus the M112 will have much more potential in the long run over the M62 which would already be running close to it's peak. Another plus is that I will have a huge selection of s/c's to upgrade to in the future that will be a bolt on once this is done *cough* Kenne Bell *cough* lol
As far as throttle body and stuff, I might run a lightning or cobra throttle body too so the bigger supercharger won't be choked off the KL TB.
Isn't the Miller Cycle V6 in Millenias using an M62 with twin intercoolers? I could have sworn they were a KL-based Sixers, and if that's the case, they're a cam swap away from being a kickass powerplant. Might be something worth looking into for your manifold or blower ideas.

Yeah. The KJ is a relative to the KL, but the block has small differences like the bore, crank, and oil passages. They also have thicker rods. The heads are way different though. Can't really get too much from that engine. Lol
