        • What kind of numbers are you looking to get with the engine an turbo setup? If this has already been mentioned I apologize. Epic build. I love seeing Volvo's raced out.

            • got my engine heated in a big oven today! was in there for about 4 hours at 95*c! did this to be able to re-tourqe the head studs without actualy running the engine to get it to operating temp!

and then i spent 12 hours looking at a cnc mill doing its magic ;P
me and a friend started making a new dry sump oil pan, only needs a plate welded in there and drill the mounting holes!

didnt get that far before i found the real fault ;P

we made a spacer to bolt the audi driveshaft onto the volvo rear axle

                            • a little bit of an update

bunch of pics and a little text ;P

so, when i started to adjust the cams i noticed the cam picked up and launched the shim right out of the bucket!! So i guess there is enough lift on these cams then ;P

had to buy new valvebuckets, solid ones and shim the valvs with lashcaps..

btw, that was a lot of work o.O grinded the lashcaps to the correct clearing!

                              back on the cams

and on with the timing belt etc

also, the timing belt kit from yoshifab didnt line up with the cranckshaft gear.. had to make a 2,5mm spacer for the cranck so the timingbelt runs straight and free ;P

                              exhoust temp

aaaand carbon plates for the interior
