    Looks good!!!! Dont forget to etch prime the bay and use some epoxy primer to keep it from rusting.

    I miss my corrados and a small part of me still wishes i had finished my widebody car

      luckily one of the guys in our shop is a body man and i have been to the table a few times before this is my first bay though and damn is it a lot of work

        I got my rails done(just flat railed) and only had the heater core holes to shave and paint the whole thing...If i would have known then what i know now id be done but it was parted about this step of its build. After 30 corrados it was time for a change.

                    lol at the dick on the window. i don't think i have ever seen a dusty car in a shop without one. i wish i had a shop so i could dig into a project like this

                          engine is now off at the machine shop which means i need to get to work so that when it is done i can mock it up and start wiring.

                          loaded the motor in the back of my jetta (my other VW is a VW)



                          me being a dork dropping it off



                          and here is the head all cleaned up it is getting welded up and decked a bit





                          and the reason it needs some welding remember kids use the right type of coolant for your car.



                          my girlfriend, Kara, has been coming down and helping a lot, yeah i know i have the best girlfriend in the world

                              so i picked up the motor from headwerks on thursday and it looks great



                              and brought it down to the shop on friday







                              also went with tim to red rooster to grab some stuff to finish off the bay yay for getting work done!



                              laid down a bit of filler today but the phone died before i could take anymore pics should be back down on monday to get more done
