Had a productive day, don't mind the shitty blackberry photos though.

I'm still finding some rusty spots here and there in the engine bay. I cut out this spot on the front panel.

Front and back all patched up

Covered up with some high-build primer

I got all caught up trying to make everything perfect in the engine bay but then I remembered I'm not building a show car... I began sanding and spraying some primer here and there and it's already looking a lot better. There's still some metal work to be done but it's getting there.

My buddy Jon set up this wheel spinning rig. We weren't sure how it would work out but it made polishing the wheels super easy.

Wheels all masked up and primed

And done just need to spray some clear

Keizers. Common on formula and autocross cars

Spent most of my day sanding down wheels. Who wants to buy my exims??

I've still got lots of welding and grinding to do before paint

So I went out to grab a couple parts from a guy today and ended up coming back with these!

13x7 and 13x8 Revolutions in what looks like et0 The guy also threw in a ton of spacers and hardware

Fronts are on a 7mm spacer right now to clear the brakes.

Pokes a bit much right now. But by taking a couple mm out of the spacer, adding a touch of camber and maybe a fender pull, it won't look as crazy

    Rears fit super minty

Thanks. The scirocco was a cool car. It was running an aba block and jh head so it had some nice compression to it. Not a ton of power but pretty peppy and a ton of fun to drive.

my buddy ended up selling it for this though:

I don't know too much about these cars, but my uncle has one and he said he did a dual carb setup on it....weird

    Thanks

Made my master cylinder adapter today so I can delete my brake booster. Running the stock booster bracket but with a plate welded on. Just have to shorten the pushrod now

Not too pretty but it'll work.
