Well I drove the e21 for the last time the other day. It's off insurance and hopefully will have a new owner soon.

I've been slowly collecting parts for the rabbit so hopefully I can get some work done between semesters. First project will converting my rear end into the early style to work with my new tail lights

Looks great so far man! Can't wait to see the finished product.
haha crazy. It was a pretty cool meet. I thought I felt a little out of place surrounded by exotics but it was pretty well received. People seem to love barn find/revival stories

Yeah man, it was cool meeting everyone. I'll come out to toys every once and a while, hopefully I'll catch you again and can take a closer look at the e28. Hopefully I'll this thing going soon but I'm on the fence about the carbs. May wait till tax return season to pick up some Weber DCOE's.

Well I've moved back for school and can finally get going with the rabbit again. Just put together a german auto parts order...hopefully the last one I need to get the car running.

Engine is in, just need a few small things. Sold the zx6 carbs and looking for something a little bigger now.

Dropped the rear and a bit and a little roll action. Goodbye preload Thinking I'll order a camber shim kit if I end up going any lower in the rear. I'm gunna have to get creative with the front though

Hardly an update, as I've barely touched the rabbit. However, the bimmer is pretty much done. I'm headed back to school in a couple weeks where I can work on the rabbit again, so no need for the e21. It's going up for sale so if anyone is interested in a minty e21, shoot me a pm

Bimmer is only temporary. It is a 1977 and had been sitting in a barn since 1991. I am the second owner and the car only has 116k km!

    Engine bay before:

    After a quick wash:

    Extra minty

Cleaned and refinished the tanks. Flushed entire fuel system

After new paint and at the 2nd ever cars and coffee Toronto.

Don't mind the wheel gap. Its just on the rabbit wheels/tires until I refinish the stockers

Ccol man. I've been following your build thread, looking good! I am really taking forrever with this build but have made some progress. The engine bay is done and painted and the engine is in. I'll have to update with some pictures.

Rabbit is kind of on the back burner for now, as I've been working on my temporary ride:
