BITCH ASS: A Build of Average Proportions and Modest Income
Well, I finally got my center caps on. Just in time to buy new wheels. I have no plans to sell the Borbets unless someone makes an offer I cannot refuse, so they'll be getting refinished over the winter. Whether or not they stay 7.5" wide is a definite question floating around in my head. The new wheels should be here within a few weeks. Here are some shots from a talented friend of mine. This was an impromptu shoot (had 20 mins of warning hahaha) and the car was unbelievably filthy. I hadn't cleaned it in like 4 days. Balance and steering feel were terrific, though it was clear that the car needs a limited slip, wider rubber for racing, and a stronger clutch. The sway bars feel like they're the right size at least with these tires, the spring rates and damping felt spot-on, as well. Balance shaft delete came in from C-F-M yesterday. I wish the Cosworth kit was not discontinued, but the C-F-M piece appears to be high quality and well-made. I'm impressed.
Here's a mega crappy pic of the block plate sitting on my keyboard.
I do currently run CBs on the car, I love them. You had a cool little Cobalt, sir! Thank you for the kind words, I'm trying to make the car a pleasant surprise to look at.
Thanks, buddy! I can still remove collars up front, so if it doesn't tuck as much wheel as I'd like, i do have a touch of adjustment left.
