Picked up a 60mm spring conversion for the rear with 450lb/in x 150mm springs on Wednesday. Maybe I'll put them in this weekend while I'm trying to track down the infernal squeak back there. I've also got new rear swaybar bushings to toss in.

Up next is either clutch/flywheel or a 60mm spring conversion with camber plates, solid tophats, and pillowball camber plates up front. I'm probably going to convert the springs this summer and do the clutch while the car is stored over the winter.

My tow vehicle/ new DD will be very interesting

Exactly, my half-generation is a black sheep. I personally think it's a shame, the facelift did wonders for the car's lines.

Speedbumps really aren't too bad, I just take them slowly and at an angle.

In case you didn't notice (90% of the people that look at the car don't), but I actually have tinted them very lightly.

The yellow car you linked to (thank you for not posting the picture directly, I appreciate that ) is a MK1.5, the difference you're seeing is the fact that he has shaved the lower grille bars, rub strips, and turn signals from his stock bumper; a look I am not fond of.

    The more I know

Oh ok, it makes sense now. Yeah, I just love seeing those crap altezzas red tinted and I am throwing that idea around in a bunch of threads, and one guy actually did it(with great success) on his aerio.

You're right, as soon at the facelift hits, it seems like the aftermarket drops off for cheap ricer body parts. Thanks for sharing the info, I feel a bit less stupid.

Damn, that's low. Even the smallest speedbumps must seem like mountains.

I'm talking about doing that to the altezzas.

Oh yeah, I don't know shit about focuses, so bare with me hahaha.

    Apparently that's called a MK1.5

Thanks, man! This car is about as close as you'll find to sitting flat out on coilovers in the Focus world. The front subframe sits about 1/2" off the ground. As you can see to the left in this picture, the quarter is not leaning against the lowest part of the subframe; that's just as far as I could get my arm under the wheel well.

Some more pictures for good measure, taken on uneven ground (heavily crowned cul-de-sac):

Wow, those wheels look great, and the fitment is spot on!

The only thing I think it really needs is the front end from

    that thread

    and

    red vinyl'ed altezza tail lights.
    But that's my opinion.

Get some better pics up of the current fitment nao!

Better pictures forthcoming, including shots of the updated rear fender work. A nice, even pull, if I do say so, myself

Yeah, that was me! I used to live at Campus View, but my apartment was the one that burned down. I just go to school there at night now. Thanks for the kind words!

UPDATE: I just ordered tires and camber arms about ten minutes ago! I decided to go with 205/40-16 Kumho Ecsta ASTs.
