I believe the new one is 6.2" not 100% though. I just realized my old one wasnt pressed all the way on, so that coulda solved it, but either way the new one is better/lighter

    Tryin man!

Saw this trucks exhaust tip, thought it was funny

Then installed the new pulley. Not as easy as you would think, especially with a weak impact...

Didnt have a chance to make it down to Chevy to get a new bolt, but at least that gives me something to do tomorrow...

Exhaust system is fully in the car now too, its getting there..

The last speedbump i encountered was that the crank pulley now hits the fan for some reason

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

So i solved that by getting a new harmonic balancer. This was is 1/2" smaller and tested to 12k rpm. So itll hold together when we rebuild this motor at a later date..

So, its been awhile since I've updated both of my threads so here it goes...

The drivetrain is all fully mounted in the car and ready to rock, but of course this didnt happen without a fair amount of hurdles

    Motor done...

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

    Brought it home...

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Bought all the hardware to bolt the transmition to the block and replaced all the bolts that hold in the front crossmember with gr. 8 stuff.

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Prepped the headers and painted the muffler part flat black

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Bolted the transmission to the block and it wouldnt fully go together . Turned out i had the wrong pilot bearing. Swapped that out and everything went together smoothly.

    Ready for a heart..

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Got her set in, tight fit..

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Everything fully mounted in the car for good...

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

I ended up being 3/4" short on my measurement for the driveshaft. Didnt trust it the way it was so i pulled everything back out and removed it.

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Didnt get a pic of the new driveshaft, but i ended up reusing the stock slipyolk and just had a new tube welded in.

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

    Grabbed Cafe Rio...

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Really glad i got the motor to sit far back in the bay

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

    Meat lol

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

    Grabbed some pizzokies..

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

    Angle pic for good measure..

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Heres the way the Coils laid out on the valve covers, looks clean

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

And got the fuel line cut coming into the rail..

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

Messed with the s13 a bit (Check the other thread)

    Untitled by DriftBuild, on Flickr

I need to plug all the harness in, bleed the fuel system, and put oil in the motor and it should then be good to go...
