nice car, could use smaller tires and a bit more low but it still looks good
No true story. Got a lift kit for his Range Rover in 2008. He sold it in 2011 and got a Hyundai Terracan. Pretty capable little SUV that's not available in the North American market. He's getting a lift kit for that too. He doesn't drive a lot but it's usually 3x a year from Bucharest to Brasov, plus city driving when he's there. He hates the potholes all over Bucharest.

So back to my original comment. How the fuck do you drive a lowered car in that city? *applause and admiration*

Well, driving your daily lowered car in Bucharest is only about patience and being chill. The roads aren't that bad here particulary. Romania has worse roads to give:P(for example my hometown - Pitesti - i am only going to college in Bucharest but I spend/drive most of the time here) . For me harder is dealing with the citizens that swear, show middle fingers, flashes etc. when I slow down or stop at bigger potholes or other obstacles.

We romanians are very adaptive people. Specialy when it comes to passions like cars. There are a lot of lowered cars in bucharest and all around the country and we all face the same problems. If you want some badly you can do it. For 2012 spring summer i plan on going the lowest my coilovers can...That will be a challenge but....Challenge accepted. Cheers

Roads are not that bad in Bucharest. I think your father exagerates putting a lift kit on a car that already has a huge ground clearance. My car sits 8 centimeters from the ground, which is pretty high if you ask me, and never had any problems getting anywhere. Like OP said, problem is with the people that don't understand that a slammed car can't get fast over bumps, potholes or tram lines. We'll see next year when I plan to go down 2 more centimeters

I love that wheels, allready had one set

            ...but that blue, I don't know :/

If they were mine I would go to something like brown...some colours like that...or some shade of gray...

but nice car, I allways like to see MKV projects...

Thanx @a3 german. Well, when i bought them they were painted white as u can see in my early posts. And because my car is reflex silver, which is like the most common car colour here in Romania, i wanted something different for the wheels, a bit of contrast. And since light green, pink or purple shades are too mainstream, i decided to go on this. )
They look like a boring blue, because of the cellphone pics, which were made inside. In the sunlight the colour turns into a turqoise, teal blue shade.
Anyway, thank you, and all the best. Cheers

The car got the side mirrors, and front/back VW logos colour-matched with the wheels.
+ some temporary stickerbomb until i repaint the fender (got some little rust issues)
                                Pics:
