No progress on the Benz wheels currently. It's been too cold to work out in the garage on them. I've been researching tires and will be going with either 205/40-18 or 215/35-18. Probably Nankangs or Federals. I have some spare money and might order adapters in the near future for the Benz monoblocks.

You do know this car Swedespeed13? Enlighten me...

And here's a little update about the car itself. Just some pictures from my sloppy drive home tonight. No fender liners means the wheel wells were extra packed with snow. Lip was pretty much plowing the street the whole way back and throwing snow over my car whenever I hit a dip in the road or a block of snow in the street.

As it sits right now I'm at 22.5" ground to fender in front and 22.75" in back (probably a bit lower since the rear was measured with nothing in the back and I currently have 4 Canistos with tires in the back seat.

Well... after doing some $ math on wheels, might just go with the BBS RK's since all I would need to do is refinish them and buy wobble nuts, where as the Benz wheels would require adapters, tires and a re-finish.

So I did two quick photoshops of wild colors I've thought about.

 Purple with Gold Bolts

 and Teal with Silver bolts

Any other suggestions on colors I should photoshop? Open to ideas!

My original plan was white. Gunmetal and black are boring and played out. Gunmetal looks like brake dust, and the detail of the wheel is completely lost with Black. I might do a white photoshop as well. It's a lot classier, but for these I kind of want to go flashy since I plan to eventually fit the benz wheels for a classy setup.Originally posted by DragginWagon View PostRk's look good in gunmetal. red cars are hard to get a good wheel color on. white almost would work best.
