50:50 mix of wd-40 and acetone with red "scotchbrite" pads and a very careful razerblade to remove any remnants of the HG. Then more of the above and some 0000 steel wool, but only in certain spots since you dont want any of that shit in your engine.

oh and TONS of elbow grease. 2 days of cleaning + some bullshitting and thats the result

Probally the ugliest part on a s/m5x motor brought to ballerness with a glossy black finish:

I will get some pics with the DSLR once stuff starts to go back together. The head is going to the machine shop tomorrrow to get some stuff done and I am getting refunded on a bunch of crap parts/shit that didnt show up over the next few days so I can start getting busy with the fun stuff!

Lets say that both are correct. More towards one platform than the other --but the way everything is setup its going to be nasttyyy

Front wheels are all painted and shit. Still need to wetsand and buff them. The rears are wayyyy more concave but Im not refinishing those until I get the fresh tires mounted on them:

VMR V710. Its the wheels in my sig. I ran them on my m3 and they were perfect but I am not a fan of them on my new chasis. Good thing about them is they are super concave and the rear is 9.5". I own them and it doesnt cost me anything to run them for a few months while I find a nice 11" wide rear that I want to run.

Im finalizing the last bit of parts and waiting for stuff to arrive now. I just ordered my southbend stage 4 clutch (700tq) and my new manifold will be ordered in a day or two. Then just have to bolt shit on, run lines and piping and bam.. tune and done.

Yea pretty much the general consensus now man. The car is going to be wicked and pretty scary.

As far as I can recall at this moment, our shop in the next month will have the 2 most powerful/nasty BMW's in Rhode Island :P ....Off the top of my head I can only think of one other boosted 24v or better car and its not completely sorted yet.

Literally ordered every remaining part to the build today. Everything except the manifold will be here by the end of the week with the manifold a few days behind the rest.
