              I have 2jz Boner over this. I always loved the MkIII better. I like a sleeper and Everyones knows about the mkIIII so thats why I like these. Cant wait to seee it finished...

                      thanks guys!

                      wheels id like either ccw, volk gts. and of course a real nice offset on them. im also going to pick up some xxr 522's for drifting. and some 15s for the drag slicks.

                      just gotta get some of that paper first!

                      the driftmotion wastegate.. i hope its good haha. but otherwise i will be building a new manifold all vband flanges with tial waste gates. and a 76mm billet precision turbo

                        so I'm sure theres question on how and why this build came to be.

                        so from the beginning here we go.

                        2 years ago i was a senior in highschool, living the life of a half intelligent spoiled tool. i had a brand new toyota tacoma "06" and life was simple.
                        one day i started to notice this black car pull into the parking lot every morning. it had been doing so all year, but today it caught my eye. over a month period i started to grow towards this black mystery car. until the day i actually decided to ask the kid about it. he said "its my sisters 92' toyota supra and she lets me drive it when my 3000gt is down."

                        enter the supra : so me being a horsepower freak and average joe car guy i decided to do some investigating on this "supra". I cruised the internet finding all the info and builds. I was hooked. i had never known about the mk3,mk2,mk1 supras. just as everyone else of my generation the mk4 was the supra and thats all we knew.

                        so over time my interest grew into obsession. i had to have a MA70 supra, and one day an opportunity came around. the same boy who's car started my obsession came to me and said "he i know your looking for a supra, my brother has a white 87 and it has 450hp." My mind shut down.. i thought to myself. i have to have this car. i told him to bring it to school that week.

                        so 3 weeks later after begging and begging this boy to bring the car to school, he finally did.. i sat in the parking lot at lunch while he went to grab it from home. 20 minutes later and what felt like an eternity, i hear the turbo'd inline 6 coming from a few blocks away. finally he pulls into the school parking lot the cars white pearl paint sparkling with the light. this thing is badddd to the bone. like.. "dun nu nu nu na." so he parks the car hopes out and tells me about it. he says "my brother built it about 6 months ago and needs money. "he wants ******$ and its got a big turbo and these parts." sp i get his brothers number and the ball is rolling.

                        about a month later i sold my "bro" truck and run to the kids house with cash in hand. as he signs the car over to me, he looks at the registration and laughs " haha i never realized this.. but the vin number on this car is JT2MA70-00006660-" good luck with that he said. hence why i call it "Demon"

                        so i get home estatic as a fat kid with a gift card to a chocolate factory. i call my dad outside to see my car. my dad owned a 07" 911 turbo carrera 4s at the time. he wanders outside to see what i had purchased. he says "you bought that piece of shit for how much?!" my response was lets go for a drive. i threw him the keys and we were off.

                        we get out onto a stretch of highway. i tell him to punch it, so he does. first gear... "oooh lots of torque he says.. second gear to 6500rpms.. "damn!' he says. he short shifts into third gear. the big 67mm turbo is fully online at this point " holy shit! he says at 160mph.

                        he coasts and says "wow this is nuts.. but this thing is unsafe, you need cage and other safety equipment to drive this on the track. son this is not a street car. track ONLY"

                        those were the words that changed this cars life.. my dad bought me a buick to daily drive and said make that supra safe. but you are not allowed to drive it on the street. ill buy the safety equipment he said.

                        so a few weeks later i took the car to the dragstrip to test it out. on 225/40/18's it didnt hook up for shit. i ran 14.8 at 120, thats all those poor tires would allow. another few days roll by and we learned the turbo had chips on the compressor wheel, me not having a clue about motors or turbo's. i told him order me a new one. so he orders a t76 godspeed godzilla.. ffffuuuuuu!!! we install it "since my knowledge was definitely lacking at the time". he also changes the oil out for some synthetic.

                        that night i take a friend and we decided we wanna break in the new setup. so we drive 150 miles to ontario oregon. on our way we raced a saleen mustang. and a few other rice rockets just for shits and giggles. on the way back into boise, we hear a knock.. ohhh shit what happend we thought.

                        turns out older motors dont like synthetic very much. and my turbo oil feed line had broken. dumping out all the oil!

                          few days past the car now back home i decided to pull it and figure out what i was going to do.. .





                          so i go to a car meet where a friend tells me he has a built usdm 2jz-gte. he wantes a few grand for it and it made 500hp in his silvia. so i bought it from him and the swap began.

                          the hard thing was finding info on the swap. but after awhile i found things here and there. i bought the mounts and some parts and off i went.

                          after getting the motor in the car and having no piping. i contacted a friend by the name of Mike T also known as XmoshX. he told me he and a buddy would come out and fab up some piping for the car. later that week the boys came over they had a small business out of a barn/shop in kuna called BLACKlist motorsports. mike being a suburu guru and jake being the fab guy..

                            cool. i reckon if you mount that oil cooler out front bozu style it would look sik with the lazy headlights. and only other thing id change if it were me would be the back bars on the roll cage, which would normally go down to the strut tops rather than the back of the car?

                            keen as to see where this goes

                                its a drag cage. that just how we decided to do it.

                                the dynamat thing was a midbuild crisis haha. i got to a point where i wasn't sure what the car was going to be and what i really wanted to do with it. at that point i had in my mind the car would be a weekend warrior. but thats not going to happen. it is a track car.

                                and actually with the amount of weight i pulled out of the car. it was hardly noticed when i added the cage/dynamat. in fact the cage only weight about 50lbs and the dynamat is around 30
