  • You're getting pretty handy with the tig. Pumped to see more tailored parts and the 02 started.

    • why? just why is this 2002 so perfect, yet its not even 100% done. you sir need a trophy, or some sort of award or just someone give this man a fucking cookie. he deserves it.

      • You seem good with metal, make some other cool things like key chains and shift knobs, even furniture. I would surely spend money on those, mainly because your car is fucking amazing. Just glad to see an update!

        • You did a great job! And you have a lot of patience and imagination!
I love those rims, seats and brakes and suspension!
          Well done!

            • So I kept seeing the signs... renthal, fmf, VP racing fuels, stickers here and there. Then the KTM mug gave it away. Ex motocross perhaps? I see no bike in garage.

Oh and good build thread. Im not one for BMW's, but its a great looking car non the less. Hope once its done you will want to drive it... All that work, I would be afraid to hurt the thing.

                • Going to be playing with furniture ideas and accessories in the future. Thanks for all the kind words everyone.

I used to ride a lot when I was younger. I grew up on it. I was lucky enough to have a father who got me into it early and supported the habit over the years. Since college and life I hardly ever get out to the track. Good eyes though haha.

Not much of an update, still wiring and working on getting the orders setup for the fluid reservoirs. Polished one up tonight. Check out www.tailoredsupply.com if you want for your e10 (02), supports my car build

Right! I rode/raced from middle school till I graduated HS, then I got a full time job at a dealership started painting and modding car and things, sold my bike and have not been to a track other than visiting my dad, who still has bikes, maybe once a year for the last 6 years. I still have washougal stickers from the Suzuki shootout from like 2003. Anyway...

Again, love the build, really love the tent-overspray-plastic-frontyard-paintbooth. Been there. Still there.

                        • If you don't mind me asking what do you do for a living?
Actually it doesn't matter, just curious because I have had several friends that weld/welded for a living, and they all made fucking BANK, and they weren't even as good as you are.

                          • cereal black- Funny how it works. Damn life gets in the way. I miss riding a lot though, need to get back into it. thanks though!

Rinku-Bitch- I'm actually a full time student currently and do ecommerce for a skateboard company. Plus whatever I can on the side to support the car build. I really want to do a lot of welding in the future. Truly enjoy it and I'm really passionate about building stuff, as I'm sure everyone can tell.

                            • Ahh, makes sense why you would need the extra cash, well once you get out of school I would definitely look into being a welder for any steel company. We have a bunch of small steel suppliers down here and the welders tend to have the best hours with the most pay haha
