            Thanks, it does roll hard...

After running the 15" pro plus for a little while it was time for a change so I desided to go for the 15" Rockford Fosgate punch P3's
These have a cleaner & clearer bass line compared to the pro pluses but are less powerful at only 500 rms each.

Well its been a while since have done anything to car but we have been to a few meets & we also went to Heaven on wheel (HOW) what a run that was.

I will load up a few pics of project low getting about.

Many thanks to Zebbs, Troopa & Jake for some fantastic shots

Now its time to make this sweeter

Thanks to Jaspreet for lending me that splitter to see what it would look like on my car, this is still sitting higher than before. I raised it a little to go to HOW & haven't lowered it back down

I do like the vr splitter but I like the gti one better.

Oh Jas bought my highline leather interior out of this car while he was at my workshop, he only came down for me to fix his car but he drove out that night with the leather fitted in car

I have sold the leather for another reason

Ok a little while ago I got hold of a smashed up S3 it sat in the workshop looking sorry for it self for a little while, I knew what I was going to do with & I knew what parts I didn't need, so slowly it has been stripped as a
few of you on here know as you've had quite a few parts off it.

Any way the plan is: out with the old

                    And in with the new

I know the 1.8t mk3 conversion has been done before so in true bd style we will be doing this conversion with a twist

Ok I have the bam 1.8 engine which has the k04 turbo, as standard it should of been running 225bhp I am shore we can we will be doing something about that

The mk3 2.0L 16V is a very good base to do the conversion in to, I will be using the 02a gearbox off the mk3 including all the mounts, sub frames & may be I will use that radiator to.

The little twist will be trying to run this with oe ecu, a/c climate control, the hole dash board - the stereo, steering column with Audi key, S3 recaro leather interior & as much of the audi loom as possible inc fuse box.

What would relay be an achievement is to use the oe key remote to lock, unlock & alarm the car

Now with an empty engine bay in the s3, it was time to remove a lot more yet.

Mk3 loom removed from the fuse box

                    Old brake servo out

Out with the old heater box from the mk3

fire wall cut with a hole for the a/c pipes to come through

In with s3 heater box with air/climate control

While the engine is empty it was time to clean & smooth it, it would be rood not to

Trial fitting the dash board support bar from the s3

                    S3 dash trial fit

S3 looms out so time for a trim

There me trying to tame the s3 loom

Loom now tamed & in my control

                    Removing the audio loom

The old ABF engine ready to be stripped for the 02a gear box, fly wheel & engine mounts.

S3 gearbox coming off to make room 02a gearbox

im impressed, mainly by three things:
                          1. the insane amounts of wiring you're going to be doing (i **** wiring, my hat goes off to you for attempting this)
                          2. the 190 evo you've got.

and 3. this guys epic 'fro!

Engine bay is also being de seamed & smoothed not a quick job at all.

Well next up was to mock fit the engine in the engine bay to see where we will placing hiding wires pipes & so on, this was very quick so didn't manage to to take many pic's but when the engine is fitted again I will make shore more pic's are taken.

Engine box & mounts bolted to geather & going in.

                                drive shafts going in

left is S3 & right is mk3, it looks a lot longer than the mk3 one

Now I wanted to quickly connect the loom up out side of the car so the car so that I could test a few things.

Engine loom bing connected to the Ecu

Steering column & speed connected with ignition on, oh what a surprise there are warning lights

Air bag light is on but the there is no air bag loom connected in the whole system
