Yeah I'm gonna swing by D&M corvette tomorrow and see if they do PC or who they'd recommended. they have a square block of shops and buildings there...they can pretty much build a car from scratch there.

well then you know where I live

I live a block west and a block south of D&M

          Oh and my plans vegas:
-sand blast and powdercoat all my suspension stuff purple
-hand sand and do a REALLY good rattle can job on the diff, torque tube, and driveshaft in white
          -poly suspension bushings
          -25mm/21mm sway bars and bushings
-I need to custom fab some rear camber plates, because the D2s didn't come with rear camber. The top mounts out back are Reallyyyyy small so a camber plate will be tricky.
-30mm-ish spacers out back on these wheels, and possibly get another set of the 9" rear wheels for the front
          -roll fenders
          then, I also have
-my custom purple gauges and interior lighting that i need to finish.
          -DDM 55w 5k hi/lo h4's and h4 headlight housings
-DDM 35w 3k h3 fog lights, and retint my lenses and install them on rust free housings
-pull turbo and port it, specifically the wastegate port in it
          -buy a short shifter
-buy some deep dish wheels, because these cars take 9.5+0 and 10.5-20 wheels like champs. Then PC the faces purple.
          - near the end of the year, my buddy in kansas is swapping a 1UZ into his so I'm buying his forged and built motor off him for 1200.
-and the list will never end....

Well I stopped by D&M and they said they would love to do the finishing on em, but want to see all the parts in their shop first before they give a price on it. I am close to that stage, but I need to get my damn rear hubs apart. I got the big nut holding the hub axles in off, but now I can't get either side off to get all the bearings and seals out. Also, the lower bolts on the A arms won't budge. Put em in a 7 ton press at the shop and the A arm started to spread! it pulled itself back though.

Then, they go to D&M. D&M will remove the bushings, stamp everything for left/right, get those lower bolts out, and glass bead everything. then they will send em off to their powdercoater for a nice coat of bright candy purple

I'm thinking this shade, with a candy sparkle in it.

then, assembly. all new hardware or refabbed/cleaned. poly bushings. D2 coilovers. I need to figure out a design for custom rear camber plates. The strut top hats are really small and don't give much room for adjustment, plus D2 mounts the strut to the top plate via 4 little hex bolts rather than just the top gland nut, soooo I need to make away to adjust it at those 4 bolts. Any ideas?

then, I need to custom make new trim panels on the side, because I wan't to hinge the top pieces so I just have to swing them open to make adjustments out back rather than tear apart my panels.

Then! I need to get spacers for my rear wheels. my front wheels will not get spaced right now. I have super sunk and ballooned fronts (16x7 with a 225/50!), so I flush out the front until I get smaller tires, or I was thinking of picking up another set of rear 9 wides and keeping the 225/50's up front. Oh, that reminds me I need to roll my fenders and figure out if i need to mod/cut the plastic wheel wells, which will probably happen because a body panel seam has already cut through the panel before which will pose a danger to my tires. Ughh, all this and I need it to drive by march!

                            purple!

cell phone doesn't pick it up, but it is VERY sparkly. It is also VERY hard to apply even coats...since it is transparent over the silver metallic, it is very hard to match the "tint percentage" (only way I could describe it) from one spray pass to the next, so some spots seem to be a deeper purple while some are more of a purple hue over the silver (mostly in the hard to reach corners and crannies of the parts)
