soooo manned up and got myself a few steps towards 400bhp

not much progress at the moment as was unemployed for 2 months and have just managed to start a new job, so waiting for 1st pay cheque

got a gt2871r and uprated actuator and a h-dev 3a chip and reinforced turbo to mani bolts

to be fitted as soon as i collect them

ALSO am toying with this colour scheme for the wheels... hmmmmm

looks great with the camber and more low. haha i bet the kit scrapes on the ground a bit!

would it be possible to smooth over the filler and relocate it to the boot or behind the number plate or somewhere? thats the only thing id change on it if it were me.

keep it up bro, great build so far!

            so eventful weekend..

collected the turbo friday and headed over to freds garage to start fitting, bit of a picture thread for you about getting it fitted, had LOADS of hassle with leaking braided lines and the fact i have never attempted anything like this before..

so after 23 hours and no sleep i was ready to throw the towell in.. AND THEN we got attacked by HAIL stones as well..

yes extreme but we hit to many probs one after another, and then on final start the car dumped all its oil out another braided line...

so popped a few bits off and then realised the copper washers are PANTS and leak loads..

so on round 4 of FINAL turn over the car flooded loads, did the old fuel pump fuse out trick and car ran for bout 30 seconds. put all back together and car ran like POOOOOOOO!!!!

so after almost 20 hours in the workshop in the freezing cold i thought screw it and decided to limp the car down the motorway back to pomps.. to hindhead and the car just died.. it had sounde like it was running on 3 cylinders and wouldnt rev or run smooth, it was juddering vilently.. also had a small coolant leak still from on eof the water feeds to the turbo, just a small drip so need to get ANOTHER new washer on that too.

Luckily a good mate said he would come rescue me.. and after a quick look we found out it was all due to the AFM being in safe mode.. or limpp mode etc...
so yeah all the geniuses on SXOC need to seriously re read what they typed, i followed 4 how to guides on fitting the z32 afm and all 4 HAVE THE WRONG wiring setup for a 14/14a.. however i didnt know this at the time as everyone has ok'd the threads and said they seemed right..

Got the h-dev one out and flipped over the 2 wires so they swapped connections and hey presto the car burst into life..

and HOLY COW the gt2871r is IMMENSE and 3a is awesome, car runs fine now, no smoke and no puffing, no stalling, no juddering, and boosts smooth as anything.. so so impressed

heres the pics IN REVERSE ORDER - finish to start

few pics from a mini meet last night... enjoy..

by the way the 3a map is running great and sweeet jeebus it makes a difference, just need to straighten up the rear plate and sort the crack on the front bumper.. and then comes the refurb on the wheels ... more camber and smaller tyres which will = MORE LOW! which = WIN!!

I love this car, really good color choice!

only thing i would change would be to get 19's instead of 18's, i feel like the would fill the rear well up a lot better

cheers man.. i have been thinking the same.. however what i need is more low and some more tuck.. as i am touching the metal on the arches at the moment.. lol.

need a little weaker offset on the rears and stronger on the front

so today the cable snapped on the boot/fuel pull.. so not massively happy about that..

but fitted the padded centre console bits made from real cream leather and cream gear gator

and a few pics from the meets over the last few weeks

                              enjoy

                                few pics from this weekend..
                                drove it

                                cambered it, fixed the indicators

accidently gave myself some permanent arange sidelights that run off the fog lights now.. which was a cool messup

and then crashed it... which sucks

so helped stu with his ps13 building the interior and sorting the diff out...

and then drove to dorking and back to see the parents..which is when the crach happened.. gives me an excuse to get the door rehung tho and sort the scrubbing on the skirt from the door..still sucks tho

                                heres the pics
