Interested to see how you shorten the M42 pan. I've been tossing around the idea of swapping an M42 into my 2002 eventually, which will be on air as well. The pan has been a bit of concern though because of how low it hangs. Is it pretty straight forward?

This is really just my instagram dump thread now, but whatever.

Single rounds if you hadn't noticed.

Front fitment when it's sitting on the pan.

I bought parts to fix that though. Hopefully get this new pan shortened and the pickup done soon.

    Oooooph

So sick! Glad to see that this car is going again. Lower is always better. And those Louvers are beautiful.

The front goes pretty low. If I shorten the pan and build out a tucking set of wheels there might be a chance of getting those rockers down

Hope my 320 will be done by next summer so I can see this beaut in person. I love everything about your car, I don't quite know how you found those louvres but I am jealous.

This build is epic. I saved a pic of your car a while back and stare at it from time to time to get inspiration, I love the attention to detail. My wife and I picked up an 82 320i a month ago.
Found a local salvage yard managed to pick up a bunch of 320is goodies. Maybe one day when mine grows up it can 1/2 as good as yours. The rear louvers fit the car perfect and the Ronals set it off. The choice in colors gives the car so much class. I'm sure you hear it all the time, but awesome job!!
