I mean, to me is better, aesthetically appropriate wheels with the rest of the car, than a car very low but with mini wheels, not being able to carry a higher

No, that's not a valid concern, don't worry about it. You won't be stuck running tiny wheels, even if you're laid out. If for some freak reason you absolutely cannot run an 18" at your desired ride height (highly unlikely) you will definitely be able to run a 17" no matter what.

Unless you can see the future, or have a reference car that has already been lowered, then you will be guessing blindly at your wheel/tire clearances without lowering the car first.

Also, stock height with rims looks far worse than slammed on stock wheels. Personal opinion of course.

        Just an example of 18's

Specs are 18x9 +12 in front and 18x10+45 in the back

Interested to see what you go with man, I am going to need to throw some spacers on my Gram Lights after I get my coilovers this spring.

also understand that way of thinking, it is also logical, but what I mean is that there should be an unbreakable rule to do it ...
as I said, you do not see the future, only to take measurements and select a wheel with common sense ..
            its my personal opinion too
