    .

    I've owned this 510 for the last 9 years .......... . . and drove it 20k + miles

    March 2005:


    I got tired of looking at a white hood in the sun ........... .. I did all the prep work and then took it to Maaco for a $400 paint job:

















    May 2006:


    16x8 +12mm Panaspots......... 3/8" spacers in the front ............ No engine/tranny in these pics:

        The Blue L20b engine was getting tired......and the transmission had always sounded like it was going to croak... .... so I sold the motor and transmission:

          July 2007:


          It was time to go Moar Lowar!!!!! ............ I raised the Control Arm pivot points... .. ... shortened and re-threaded the stock struts,,,,, and welded on coilover perches:

                  January 2008:


                  After debating a more modern motor swap .. .. . .. .. . I found this on craigslist:


                  A 1974 Datsun L18 ....... 1800cc SOHC ........ with a isky racing cam....... and dual 44mm Mikuni Carburators..... it even came with a 280zx 5 speed transmission and shortened driveshaft:

                    Febuary 2008:


                    2 weeks after the Maaco paint-job,,,, my car got hit in a parking lot,,,,,, ,, luckily the guy left a note ....


                    He was in a Suburban,,,, with bycicles on the tailgate ........ and the bike rack hit the driver's side fender,,,


                    He broke off the glassed on fender flare ...... ... and I tried to re-attach the flare:
