i had seen this build and remember thinking that your car was that hwy hntr build on stance works, but that would have just been to ridiculous to recognize a car from the internet so i concluded it was just some random, so i moved on

haha it was a little fender bender, cept her bumper completely missed my bumper and went through my radiator haha that was the main problem

so finally some updates on this thing. I was busy on the falcon, but as sowo among other shows/meets approach I start to turn a little attention towards the Mercedes. Nothing major, but some good updates nonetheless.

so I've just been dailying the thing and my wiper flies off



so I replaced it



check out dat camber



so I stuck the AMG's on the fronts and was riding like a pro stock honda with fatty's on the front and skinnies in the rear



so around Halloween I replaced my drift charm





then someone borrowed my car and shattered that drift charm so I got this one



then I found this real spider shortly after and had to kill it, it broke my heart but I think it's a black widow =X



then as the meets have been picking up around here lately in the spring I've started to hoon again a little. It's an open diff but sometimes both tires will spin if I and the Merc want them to hard enough



before you watch these videos make sure you turn down your volume on your cp, cause they're off photobucket and will blow out your eardrums lol

here's a video of a burnout but only one tire was spinning I'm pretty sure (which I blow I knows) but you can still see some of the smoke coming from the front right of the car lmao

K. then after that I/we decided to fix my skid plate. Ever since my accident it got squished and had a bowing effect and dragged on the ground

and there's a local drift event coming up here shortly in a few weeks, where we're going to be allowed to camp (KMS lookitup) it's gonna be sweet a couple of guys from here are going as well, and I need to make a basket thingy up quick similar to this



so I've been on the lookout for some pallets, this is the first I tried out







but it's on the heavy side and on the shorty side, so me and Mad hatter went to go look for a different one behind big lots and found this beauty



it's way lighter and longer too

so that's where I am at this point, I'm going to start working on the basket and then paint it or lacquer it so it doesn't absorb water and become heavier. I'll try to keep this thread updated

I like this car sir! I did a similar setup for the roof rack on my old truck but I ripped apart a pallet and just used the boards to make what I wanted.

and yeah I remember seeing that pic of your old truck. Like, I'm gonna keep the longer/flatter slats on it, and make like 3 walls around it, and have the front open and put a valence on there to help direct air flow. I would just do the slats like you did, but I'm planning on putting some looser items like fire wood (cause it's gonna get cold :burr

And yeah I'll be back at sowo, if I take the Merc it sadly won't be too much different from last year haha except a little more tidied up, maybe a different antenna, and lower (part of the reason I fixed the skid plate was so I could lower it more) among other things. We actually bought our hotel room already cause we were afraid of being shutout, rooms fill up faster and faster every year it seems. You're gonna be at sowo? If so do you know which hotel you'll be staying at already?

the local pick a parts normally has a good selection of 190's/124's (non 94-95 ) and 126's if that's what you're looking for. I mean other than that I have like a shed of parts haha. Also I can kinda get a discount at the dealership if I have to go there . And I also have a friend in Lakeland that gets a pretty good discount if I can't. But yea. I'm sending you a pm
