took the car for a long drive yesterday, ended up doing ~350 ks. drove good, used a bit of fuel, but i wasnt exactly babying it either

cant wait til the style 5s go on, looks so boring atm :p



gave it a quick wash today, and thought id snap a better pic of the engine bay



and i pulled the cabin filter out(was sussing out how easy it was to get to vs lhd cars), and gave it a clean out. will end up buying a new filter when ive got the money to spare.

this is what came out of the housing where the filter is, made a massive difference to fan speed

need to drop the rear another 5mm, raised it up 15mm because it was rubbing like a bitch.

I actually went and had a look at a 318i the other day... what a bucket of shit that was.
I don't know where you live in Vic, but I'm from the east. This BMW was in broadmeadows. Enough said? hahaha.

haha yeh, most e36s in aus are trashed. door trims and roof linings are worse than vn commodores in the aus heat. hard to find a nice example, plenty of cheap ones if you're willing to put in the work.

already had one defect, thats one of the reasons i went to non stretched tyres and a bit higher suspension. hopefully dont have to deal with another one for a long time.

no pics of it yet, coz hozy is slack and weather over the weekend was meh, but my shifter turned up today, after only a 6 week wait. now i just have to feel like installing it!!

Damn shit.. gotta love it I don't like most e36 because they're all pimped the same (low, nice wheels and m-tech bumpers), but this one looks just sick and the engine's soo fine
