Well here goes...a brief story of my daily driver.
Its a 1990 MK2 Polo Country. Its a saloon model commonly known in the UK as a 'breadvan' or 'bready'. Its one the very last styles available on the mk2 polo, which included, rear hatch spoiler, etched windows, sunroof.
At present it still has its original 1.05 litre engine and 4 speed gearbox.
The car came into my hands in july 09 from my moms friend who was moving away further down the country, and was destined for the scrap yard, but i stepped up and said i would take it off there hands, so after six years parked half in a hedge, and two bottles of wine the BEAST was mine.
Drove it the 200yds home with the exhaust on the floor, one flat tyre, and a six inch clean spot in the window to see through. easy.
Now heres the pictures...

Offered up some spare wheels!

Made up my own mirror blank. Which still says its a gen vw part on the back!

Started the clean up!

Started to paint up wheels. Got them shotblased for free by a mate!

Cleaning up the shit out the carb!

Engine bay cleaned up!

Wheels again!

Lowering time!

Then on a new year road trip to Wales, my alternator went pppffffftttt! So new alternator, head gasket, cam belt, aux belt, all gaskets, fuel filter, brake pipes where all done. So its all dandy.

Then came the fun stage!

This is how it looked for a few weeks while attending Ultimate Dubs 10
