This one is next in line and looks less solid than it is.

Had an update off dad today :: front chassis leg is bent minimally so that needs straightening. Uneven wear on front pass tyre now makes sense. Bend looks to be from previous owner (also I've never driven it into anything)

thats the plan! currently the tyres dont fit under the arch - if i sit on my front wing it rests on the tread of the tyre as the suspension is so soft.
gotta go back and get the back passenger side re-sealed/replaced tomorrow as its got a slow leak from the tyre somewhere.

hoping to be able to pull the arches a little without killing the paint, however its at least 30 years old...

If your arches are anything like mine youll find that theres 2 skins of good old english steel welded together! These didnt roll out the way using the usual methods, I ended up forcing it out of the way with a military ball-pein hammer and had to respray it

Seriously planning on lowering it soon. Going to get the tyres under the arches, work out exactly how the front works and order some lowering blocks and stiffer springs for the back. Long term plan is convert to coilovers and hit up the guys at Broadway.
That corsa is the second lowest car in this city, and lowest static - having measured it from lowest point underneath its 12mm off the floor! Of course its lower.

These are single skin thankfully, but Ra-ther old. Respray is STILL on the cards, dad's just waiting for me to graduate university now, so I can do without the car for a month.

2" poke? Can you add some camber? Does the camber increase under suspension travel, it might tuck away nicely when its low! Love the wheels though- you've got to make them fit.... they are the same pcd as my car though
