Getting the jetwasher on the underside on the weekend so I can get 40 years of grime out the way so I can ACTUALLY see what I'm doing! Uni finishes on the 22nd.
MOT/new bushes on suspension up next, so I know its all in good working order. These things are prone to dropping hubs like flies if anything is wrong.
Ahahaha bet you all got excited then OH GOD SHE'S FINALLY DONE SOMETHING. front is down fractionally. FRACTIONALLY. we got rake goin' on. we're undersealed and our carpets have been stripped out to cut down on rot in this awful weather. still can't find that leak.
we're STILL flying high though, new bushes etc are on there but it seems new rubber is made of paper? handling is not as nice as it used to be so we're not sure where we're going with that now, cracking like crackly things all over the place. would like to get my hands on some NOS (new old stock), but it seems to have ALL perished.
respray is 100% happening for my 21st, that means full stripdown, check everything and get this bitch solid like a new car.
colour wise i'm sticking to the white/red theme, going gloss white (not this creamy colour she is now) with very very light dusting of metallic if it looks good on the test panel. getting the wheels powdercoated red properly and have some thin chrome trim to go on the edges, roofrack will be painted white with the car and subtly striped red down the side.
interior is staying black
then tootall pinstriping has made an offer i can't refuse on getting some olde-style hand-done pinstriping on the boot, subtle to accent that curve.
central locking // alarm from keyfob is being fitted october
new parts list;
-fucking rubber bushes omg these are right wankers
-save bigstyle for some wolfrace slotmags (new style, will need to get custom 4x4")
