Problem is, I'm kinda 'through' with the E36. I've got the parts I've always wanted, it looks like I always wanted... and it sucks to drive because of that.

I just don't know really what else to do with it... to keep my interest in the long run again, it definitely needs to be more fun to drive, i.e. raised, meatier tires and definitely more power, ideally a V8 which is pretty much out of the cards as a M60 swap don't offer enough bang for the necessary work and a LSx or something is expensive as fuck.

second/third Car idea got kinda cancelled. realised that if I invest that kinda money in the E46 I would have a way way better car the second could ever be.

Why engine swap when you can buy a 328i touring?

then there is one question you have to ask yourself

do you really wanna part with the touring?, if you know that you know the next step

Because then I'd be in the exact same situation as right now. A grunty V8 and a slowpoke E36.

    Why not both?

    80s v8 + lpg = win win

    V10 in a z4. Roadster no less.

Since following Mighty Car Mods' build n the Cressie, I've really been interested in classic Japanese cars.

I drive past one every day on my way to work
    It's a wagon tho

I love these mid 80s japanese sedans... when they are nicely done up, like with 11x14s and slammed as low as possible. But stock they are basically as interesting as hairy butt cheeks.

5 cylinders sound better then 4, so i'm guessing 7 will be better then 6 too, but never heard one (unless broken v8 :rolf)
