Whats the chances of someone being able to drop a centre off to whitehorse when I need lips and barrels made up? I'd probs also need everything shipped back to me/ maybe I can drive down when its ready and pick it up?

Will pay for your troubles with money/beer/sex/drugs you name it!

Wont be for a few weeks but yeah!

Did the dirty and wedged a few old flat heads down the gap. Not sure why so stuck as looked like oem parts that haven't been apart before

Having huge problems getting two barrels off my rs.
Out of the 10 or so sets I've split in the past, never been so stuck.

Been heating the carp out of it. Face down in a tyre standing and hammering. Face up on a stack of phone books, while my gf stands, on it beating it with a mallet and woody/hammer. Won't budge.

Any other ideas before I take it home to dad's press and push it out.

Last night I sealed the wheels up. Tonight, put the valves in two of them, as I need to strip the other RS' to get the other two valve stems unfortunately. The lips have different sized holes for the valves making it a bit difficult.

As you can tell, these are a bit of a zero fucks given rebuild of RS' out of spare parts.

It's just sort of, get tyres on them so there are less tyres in the garage for Mum to stress about.

    Oh well.

    Do it.

I need to get out and finish the set I started on the weekend tonight. As well as adjusting my brakes and bleeding them again.

So much to do, so little time.

I reckon I'm going to stick with black. I don't really have the time/money to get them sandblasted and then powder coated.

Today I got to it with the 16" RS build for Anja.

I built up four different sizes, two for the front and two for the rear so I could get an idea of what I could run.

    Front two sizes were 16x7j +30 and 16x8j +17.3.

The two rear sizes were 16x7.5j +23.65 and 16x8.5j +10.95.

I am using the 0.5" lips that originally came with the set of wheels for the front and the 1" lips that I got when I bought the set for the Subaru from Stu. They were white but I grabbed some paint stripper and stripped them real good.

    First coat of paint stripper.

    Second coat of paint stripper.

Majority of the paint came off, the rest will come off when I sand them back before polishing.

And them all together being happy.

Dropped some lips and caps at the polishers today. Hopefully start reassembly for my set that I'm building in a little over a week. Once they're done I'll look into getting my bits done through Whitehorse when the account is healthy again.
