So why would one speaker get more power than the other speaker (right > left rears) despite it being plugged into the same amp ?

Jase, got a question for you,
I'm currently looking at one of those JL sub and amp combo things where the amp is built into the sub box, or that sort of thing, you know what I mean.
Anyway, I have a boss audio 12" in the boot with a 600w amp, but because in my car the fuel tank is located between the rear seats and the boot, you can't even hear the damn thing over the jbl 6x9s I have on the rear parcel shelf.

If I was to get 2 of these JL 10" sub/amp combos and put them under the front seats, would there be much more of a response?

Do you have any other suggestions as to where I could mount the sub?
