pretty sure there would be a record of most people's plates in the photos everyone took, but its just remembering who misbehaved thats the problem

well thats a kick in the pants. hopefully we can find another meet spot that was as good as what we had. to bad there had to be a few knobs who had to show off and wreck a great meet for all of those who didnt.

maybe next time we should take the regos of all the ppl that rock up to hopefully prevent this again

As much as we love the look of drift cars, the power underneath the hood and what the driver can do with it there was no need for skids and red lighting the remaining cars. That being said there were a lot of cars who may not have known the rules of this sw meet as they were just tag a longs. so I think next time we should reinforce the rules at the exit. And I am more than happy to stand there and take it in turns with people to inform people leaving about not doing skids.
Lesson learnt for next time. All of which will make the next one bigger and better than the last.

+1 for private meets in the future, think its near impossible to stop leaks though. vote private carpark with payed entry half goes to food/drinks half goes to charity or something? again wd ox pitty about the nubs who ruined it for everyone else

ugh fail... that spot seemed fairly central and had plenty of room (and power).

no skids for me in my Auto 2-Tonne Tank.

I had to laugh at a few people who looked at me upon exit like "ohh this is gonna be good" considering it basically scrapes rail on flat ground, but i cheated and pumped up the bags

Nice shot there of the s14 and myself both white with eurolines. Suprised there wasnt a whole lot of other cars with them hahah

and this is why meets are made more private, and think they should be kept that way

It was a great turnout, I dont think anyone actually had any idea just how many cars were going to come. I sure didnt expect that many.

    But, and here's the kicker.....

There wont be another public SW event in Melbourne ever again. It seems that a lot of people who I didnt invite had absolutely no common sense. Missing the entrance and doing u-turns infront of traffic is plain stupid, and I witnessed it more then once.

People like the guy in the white chaser on bbs lm's, BPAIN 180, the grey R32 (Not Jamie) Who snapped second into oncoming traffic, along with many others, YOU are the reason nothing as big as this will happen again. The police show up, and once they are gone you leave like absolute morons.... Seriously?

If I ever do organise another meet where invites go out to people I dont know, There will be a system in place so that if an idiot decides to do something like that, I will be at his door that night with the police. AJ put his job on the line to get us permission to use that carpark, its not hard to control yourself. No one is impressed by how good you can skid.

Next meet, if you arent in my phone, or a trusted SW members phone, you wont be invited. Simple as that I guess.

people need to learn the simple cruise and meet etiquette, 1 person misbehaving reflects on everyone

as last resort need to have a camera set up on the exit, so that there is a record of anyone misbehaving, so their plates can be passed on to the police

there realy should not be a need for such measures, but it seems people are still not getting the point

so good on you to the dick heads that thought they were cool doing skids, and good on you to the ones who came to the meet and behaved and had a good time.
That is very disapointing that people have to wreck something!!!

Did the Police say cars were doing skids? Did they have evidence???

Huge props and thanks to you for orgnasing with your boss/employer letting us use the carpark. It a huge shame that we will be "frowned" at for say 2 or 3 cars that had to bake 'em out of there. There is 1billion other places to hose 'em...

Im not guna be dumb and say I dont enjoy some skids (heck I did a hand brake turn into my parking spot at work this morning) but its a real shame about popo having to "**** down" on 2 or 3 people. I beat the cops didnt mention that the other 95 cars arrived and left the meet without fyring the tyres.

^^ WTF, another meet spot gone!! I might have access to a multi-level carpark that can be blocked off just for us for the next SW meet, but fck that, if ppl can't behave then I don't want anything to do with that

Fuck man, Sorry to hear about that.
I don't get why people still do things like that, It's not like anyone was even provoking people to do burnouts..

    *sigh*
