Wows ok cool thanks for the info. At least you seem to have got it sorted and sounds like it can't happen again. I was hoping it wasn't just a parts failure for no reason. but yeah sounds like you just got unlucky.
I have a 90deg fitting coming out of my rear bag, somehow the bag top turned just enough for the fitting to hit on the rear beam. I've had the rear bagged again for about a month now, and kept the air pressure pretty consistent all trip (adjusted for weight/fuel to correct headlight angle). so not sure what made it decide then was the time to turn
managed to refit it on the side of the road enough to get it on the first truck (pictured) but it let go again before we arrived back at the accom. second truck was no fucks given and just dragged the car up
I've now turned the bag about 160deg and butchered the inner arch liner so it should be miles away from the beam
First time in 9.5 years of service its left me on the side of the road.
Last week somewhere past Apollo Bay. Long tow truck ride back to Bayswater.
As simple as splitting an air bag fitting
Dylanbodyboarder88, what fitting split? how did it split?
Just for future reference for us other air ride people.
