Help with new Lens

I see the 28 1.8 was already recommended so I would go with that. You could do the 10-22 or sigma 10-20 but for indoor shooting they might require a flash as they're quite slow. The new Sigma 18-35 f1.8 is awesome or if you can find the rare Sigma 20mm 1.8 I would recommend that as well.

I'd vouch for a Tamron 17-50 2.8 non-vc if you want a decent all around lens.

10-22 is a great choice aswell.

FWIW, any wide angle lens is going to be pretty good.

You should look for something that gives you a rough range of 10-24 for indoor photography (assuming you mean taking pictures of rooms). At 10mm you can take a picture with very little light and still get a decent shutter speed. The aperture is not that important. Anything much more than 17mm and I don't really consider it a wide angle shot on a crop body.

Honestly though, the only things you'll find a wide angle is good for is indoor photography, rolling shots and landscape shots. They're handy for car shows too, but really, car show photos almost always suck just by virtue of how tightly packed the cars are, how many people are around them and the time of day.

As long as you know what you're getting yourself into they're good lenses, just don't expect to be using it every day.

Just landed a few hours ago and I did not buy anything, went to a couple of places and they did not have anything in stock and the only place that had the 10-22 wanted 850 for it so no go.

But after reading some posts:

I need it to shoot inside a garage, mind you the garage isn't even done yet (build thread at garage journal /spam) I have been taking pictures with the 18-55 and it doesn't work at all. I have to back up a lot just to show a particular space, can't even take a pic of the whole thing without having to back up to the front sidewalk.
