I'm still working on finishing a trio of shots of my brother's Lotus for him to print. I'm trying to edit them all in the same style and obviously I want them to "pop" more than I want them to be realistic. I'm trying to keep it still in the realm of reality though. It's tough when these shots were all taken on different days.
Just messing around with this one. Did some cloning work, did some dodging and burning. I was basically just bored. I think there might be too much contrast between the highlights and the shadows on the cars, meh.
will do. the problem is that most of my pics of it are from h20 and I just finished them so I don't really want to go back and re-do them again. once the days get longer I'll be out taking more pictures and doing less editing work
Some awesome photos in here! how much time do you usually spend editing a photo?
it depends really, anywhere between 5 minutes and a couple of hours. i'm doing this project in part because i want to be more efficient (and more effective) at it, so hopefully by the end i can cut that time down drastically. i'm particularly bad at cloning and it takes me way longer than it should to do simple things
I'm just guessing, but of the 4 I just posted:
e30 - 20 minutes
beach scene - 2 minutes
classic mini- 2 hours
alligator - half an hour
unless i do a lot of cloning or dodging and burning it typically takes half an hour or less
