    This thread is retarded.
If your car was worthy of a feature. It would be featured.
Your car is not worthy of a feature. It's not getting featured.
Don't do it for everyone else. Do it for you. Keep it fresh and your feature will come when the time is right.

+1 Im that guy at meets taking 100 pics of the stanced na miata on steelies and yawning at the $100k baller's cars.

X2 on the black wheels, cant really see what the wheels look like, and carbon on a dark car doesnt really show! Keep pushing toward a feature and think outside the BUN...

Expensive parts suck btw! Build your car for yourself not a feature, you sound like a poser who wants the most money in your car to make you look cool. I like your car but your attitude sucks.

I didn't read the whole thread, but isn't that what this whole "scene" is all about? It's not about how much money or the amount of "mods" done to it. It's about the stance. And if the stance is nice simply by wheels/tires and suspension, then so be it?

Plus, the reason you see the same cars over and over again is because either: they can fit amazing spec'd wheels, have the fenders for it, the drop for it or they're just popular in general.

I haven't had a feature I don't think, but plenty of people recognize me and/or my car, so that's enough recognition for me. Being humble about it all surpasses ANY "feature" anyone gets.

wow i didnt check this thread for like a day, lots of responses

let me clear up some things

i built this car for myself, i did the mods i thought looked the best and the ones that i liked the most

getting featured was more about the fitment, that was really it, that it could be done and look good doing it. EVERY wheels company said it couldnt work and so did many of the forums. I thought having it stanced would make it stand out from the crowd so i built it around that idea

getting it featured would be awesome but my main gripe is that many of the cars that are being shown as excellent examples of the stance movement are cookie cutter. They are done with cheap wheels and no creativity and they get featured. To me that makes little sense because like the stanced Jag that is up now, its always been about the rare and unique.

To me its just id like to see more exclusive stances, and this jag is an awesome example of that

if the thread came off as "you guys all suck, give me a feature" then i apologize, i was heated and had a heated discussion about the blandness of whats been going on

i appreciate the feedback that everybody has given me about my car, its given me some ideas on future mods but to be clear i built this car for me, to my tastes and i love it

this was a rant on the constant same cars popping up all over the web

Only those with large disposable incomes will be able to stance those E60's and E92's and what not. It's not that no one is trying but that an E30 is a SHITLOAD cheaper to stance than an E92. Considering most of the people on this site are either A in high school/College. or B under 40 with a good enough paying job to do what they love.

That Jag is hott. If you know of more exotic cars that are stanced...well then get them here and we can do a feature!

Fitment does not = stance. Stance is the car as a whole, not just what wheels you have and how flush they are..

If many of the forums said it couldnt be done, you probably never asked us, because here at Stanceworks, Anything is possible

Of course wheel companies and purists said it wouldnt work, they aren't the recommended sizes.

You're right though, nothing but low budget piles of shit pop up on the main page here... lol, do you even look at the main page?

Sorry boss, but that e30 that is 2 posts down smashes your e60.

they way i view stance is a combination of fitment n ride height. u have the fitment down but because of wheel size u choose it limits u on ride height. thats just how i look at it. now say u had m-tech kit or somethin that made body of car seem lower it would help alot more. the reason the other e60 on first page stands out more is because of its ride height to me atleast. its not always the quality or cost of parts u buy its the package as a whole that makes the car what it is. id rather see a car that has oem or rep wheels(even tho i prefer real) that is super slammed wit great fitment even id its been done before just wit a diff variation than a car that has all the most expenaive/rare/looked for parts that doesnt flow well. i use to see a civic at local car shows that had all kinds of really nice parts some rare n expensive too. as individual parts thwy were great but as a whole the car lookes like crap. it just looked like someone bought all the most wanyed stuff n put it on his car not caring if it flowed just to win trophies n have people tell him how cool his car was. a car that flows even wit minimal mods will always catch my attention over thw one that is over done n has no style.

its not that they arent the recommended sizes, it was that that offset and widths had never been done before especially the inner barrels

yes i look at the main page a lot and that e30 doesnt look special to me, its looks nice but ive seen similar styles done before

Right, it was not the recommended spec for your vehicle. No one here runs recommended specs.
