LMAO its funny you say that, i always get the weirdest looks from people. A bunch of my friends are military or ex so to them and me its fairly normal.

I got asked the funniest question the other day about my X5 and the roof rack on it, I mounted my Ice Ax i carry when i go back country skiing. This is a guy in my building that is all professionals in some sort of corporate job, i believe he is a lawyer.

"Haithem whats with the ax on top of your car, you planing on something?"

"Bob, that would be the least of someones worries, i'd be asking why is there a shotgun in my trunk."

His jaw dropped at this point and i just started laughing.

Its funny how nice people are when you are out in the woods in known hunting/shooting areas. You can pass a complete redneck with a confederate flag on his truck and might very well be a racist, but you will both nod, say hello and be polite. Not knowing whether a person has a gun or not changes attitudes.
