I love "stanced" cars. I actually really enjoy a decent amount of the cars on this forum... But I will never sacrifice function for looks. My wheels sit flush with my fenders, my car is a couple inches off the ground. Could it look better if it was a little bit lower? Sure it could, but then I couldn't carry any passengers in my car, or hit twisty roads without eating my tire sidewalls.

My next car will be on air, because I love the slammed look... But I **** not being able to drive certain places because of the height of my front lip. That includes being able to park on the base I work at.

I think building your car for the approval of other people is more annoying than the fads themselves. I also am a believer in doing things right the first time.
