day 1: chest, tri, abs
day 2: biceps, back
day 3: shoulders, legs
day 4: rest/cardio
When I get enough sleep, I do cardio in the A.M., lift in the PM. Or vice versa. That doesn't happen as often as it should though. Most of the time I throw on 10-15 minutes of cardio @ ~140 heart rate at the end of the workout.
I want to get big, problem is the last thing I wanna do is go solo to the gym, just don't have the motivation. Need someone there to keep pushing me.

I need to get my lats bigger, my traps are on their way but I want them much bigger

My traps will never grow. I shrug 130db each arm seated and one at a time. Standing 120's each arm at the same time.
my lats are are getting too big...Tip do your pulldowns slightly leaned back I do close and wide grip and me doing that they just blew up! I was doing them behind my head and straight down and for 6 months i saw nothing.

Honestly i went in with a friend and screwed around and bumped in to a guy i knew who was 220 and my build to start no gear and he got my plan and was showing me the correct form for everything. With out him i would have gave up. The original guy i started with stopped after not pushing and only going to talk.
Just go, Dont worry about people looking at you funny...you get respect for just showing up and making an effort, Ask people questions but just dont be annoying and you will be fine. You may find a guy or two to lift with. I lift with 2 guy i didnt know when i started and its funny cause they are all about the gear and im keeping up no gear....they kinda **** it.

Yeah I guess your right, it seems embarrassing to go in there and lift lights ones because your starting out
i havent worked out in a year. just started working out again 3 months ago. i used to be bigger but working full time and finishing up my bs in ee has put the weight training off to the side. crappy pic from today at the gym. im 5'7", weigh about 151 and doing the 10, 8, 6, 4, plan. benching 225 and climbing. dont forget legs guys. very important.
