So i was just curious. As to how possible would it be to ride around with with plates from another car that's identical and that i own. So what im asking is i have a corolla and im getting tired of maintaining the shell and problems with it and was looking at another corolla in much better condition same year just in a different state. I wana buy it and don't want to pay for new tabs and plates and to register it to my name. Besides The vin number how would anyone know? Thats as best as i can explain ha

What you are asking about is obviously illegal. If/when caught, you'd get several tickets and an impounded car.

regardless of looks- the cars are not the same. aside from vin numbers on the dash, there are the same vin numbers on the doors, fenders, door jambs etc.
not a smart idea. why risk the whole car being impounded, drivers licence being suspended, fines/tickets. sure you might get away with it if you are low key. but still highly illegal.-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"

Technically, you could drive down the road without any plates on it at all. You can do anything you like, until you get thrown in the back of a cop car.
Don't be a fool. Do it legit, or stay off the road.BB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . . VA WRX Limited . . 1969 Nova

I switched REAR plates on my AE86 and 3rd gen Altima for nearly 2 weeks, due to my Altima breaking down. Since the tags were current, I drove my Corolla to work, and to work only.
My Altima was parked backwards in the street, with the correct plate in front and Corolla plate in the back. Cop finally noticed the parking and was about to write a ticket. My pops happened to be outside and he told the cop I'd move the car. WHEW.
Never doing that shit again, but techincally, yes you can switch plates LOL.
