I use bicycles to get from point A to point B. If they do the job, then its good enough for me.

Don't get a fixed gear. There fun as a toy, they blow as a commuter unless youre really into it.

You'll have fun, my suggestion is get one on Craigslist, because now that the trend is (for the most part) over, kids are dumping them for cheap.

Here's my latest incarnation, sadly it's too big and has to go. :/

Like I stated in thefixedforum, let me get that hood bra foo! LOL. The ballbuster looks dope bro. AND....matches the whip. I finally saw the Mongoose at Gualmart (Guwalmart), and it looks pretty fresh.

Looks like fun guys, bikes arnt my thing anymore, i used to downhill, but got older and it takes longer to heal from big falls! Im building myself something similar to this soon....

Yes, thats for a child, but im building it on a larger scale to fit myself, and hopefully go in the back of the dub for shows.... I dont have the coin for a GT3 Porsche wheel, so ill use something thats better suited to my scene.... a Fuch or something....

Ahyes, I have one of these hipster hypebeasts.

Almost finished this restoration, original late 70s frame/fork/crankset/hubs, period style bars/seat/stem/pedals, still trying to find a front hub to complete my 'display' wheelset. Just got beater wheels in it there.

Its for going fast and turning left*, and displaying in my studio. My street rig has 16 gears, and brakes.

*Track. Its a Track bike. Not a 'fixie' per se.

                                That thing is gorgeous.

Mine's seen a bit of left turning, but I also use it on the street (with the addition of a brake).
