  • The 'I'd like to build' Thread

What would you like to build, or see someone to build...

Include some infos about style, color, engine, wheels, interior and
    extreme mods..,

    I'd like to see:
A black e38 with 18" borbet type a, V12 with itbs, full beige leather interior and
    some vip goodies.

I like to (and i will) build:
A astra f 'vert converted to a coupe, rwd swap, c20let, silver, full zender bodykit,
bootspoiler from the south african gsi version, 16" kw turbos, black interior,
white halfcage, sunroof, bbs steering wheel, 90s style...
I already started to collect parts...

That's what i can think of atm, curious to see what others want to build.

If money were no object and I had the room for them, this would be my list.

    No particular order.

If I were married, something cool for the wife. Not sure what. Most likely a big bodied sedan.

A fun daily for me. I'd really like a WRX or an Evo tastefully done. Decent power, lowered a bit, comfy seats, something that'd be fun to drive everyday but not torture.

Then the holy grail for me would be an older 911, maybe a 964, not sure. Basically my build on that would be something that could be a blast at a track day, but still comfy enough if I wanted to dd it, or take it out with the misses on occasion. It'd be slightly raw, wide (not RWB wide, but wide), fairly low, and of course it'd have a whale tail. Interior would be very basic but classy. No rear seats but carpeted nicely, roll cage, good comfy seats, would want it to have a/c, radio, etc. Basically I would build my version of a Singer 911 since I can't afford one.

I think that's really it for me. The 911 would be my pride and joy so just that alone would really do.

    The Kia has been parted.

If I had the money I'd build an e36 to compete in Street eliminator. The cars have to be fully road legal, running pump gas, DOT approved tyres and no wheelie bars, and part of the qualification process is you have go on a 25 mile cruise, do two hot starts and take on fuel from the pump. It's the closest thing to outlaw drag radial in europe, and some cars are running 7.40s @ 200mph.

So it'd be near enough a full tube chassis, or at the very least a front and rear clip joined by a cage. I'd like the idea of running a euro s52 with a mahoosive turbo, but that probably wouldn't be competitive enough, would probably run a small block ford, a big single and a C4.

I best get playing the lottery.

Chliché but a very daily driveable E28 on the mean lows.
Targa top C5 with a procharger. Somewhere in the lower 10s.
LBZ Duramax. Mpi twins, 85 over injectors. Dual CP3's built trans and the whole works.

I'd like to see someone turn a modern exotic into a drift missle

early cargo van oni cambered and maybe given boszo treatment
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

                  Sincerely,
                  The Wagon Mafia:Inner Circle
P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

                  Show cars are lame.

I always had this crazy idea, which I will execute if I ever have a shitload of cash to spend.

Basically what I want to do is buy a pre-facelift VW Pheaton and a Bentley Flying Spur Speed and transplant as much stuff as I can from the Bentley into the Pheaton, including engine and interior.
Than I would bag it and put some nice wheels on, so you would basically have a Bentley with a Pheaton exterior

Dream build is a Hakosuka, damn near identical to the Fatlace Skyline. Don't think less of me, but I've also thought many times about an AMC pacer, SR20 swap, and wide star sharks with much cambers and many streetch units. Basically a shakotan/bosozoku pacer. Disgusting, I know.
