I've run open headers/downpipe in many cars and I never really mind it. I had a permanent open downpipe setup with open wastegate dump coming out right next to it on my 5-cyl audi and it sounded beautiful. I ran it like that for about 6 months and finally got tired of it. Now I just have a straight thru muffler on it out the back and its perfect.

Well guys here is an update, i've been running open header for about week or less and my car is acting up already....so i think i should've never did it. Hopefully my motor isn't fucked ! I rather finish buying the rest of my turbo kit rather than another engine. BUT if i have to....it'll just hold me back on being boosted few months

What kinda car do you have? when I was running open header I had no backpressure so it caused the car to break up in high rpms. I put on a 3' cat-back and a race header and it creates enough pressure to not do it anymore. I have a 240sx and OBD2 cars dont like open header generally lol
