You know I've thought the same thing. Even look at formula d drift. Forzbergs 370z and 350 were stanced. Tanner fousts tc is stances. Millens Genisis is stanced. But then hop over to the Falken team and take a look. The Porsche and the 350 are stanced, but the mustang and the challenger aren't. American muscle just doesn't seem to get "hellaflush" all though there are plenty examples of them a little taller with poking tires that could qualify as "mexiflush".
here is a rendering I did in photoshop of what i want to do to my foxbody... the car in this picture was originally all black. all i did was change the color. absolutley love those ccw classics on a fox platform mustang.
ahhh... i have an 89 GT vert that needs some body work handled before I get back to suspension... I'm on the lowered Ford "B" springs and Koni Oranges all around, and i'm switching to coilovers up front soon. but damn there are some nice mustangs here.
this is the wheel setup I'm interested in:
Those are SSR Professors SP1s on Jon SIbal's Challenger. And I want a solid color similar to that. The wheel design really compliments the straight bodied look of the fox mustang.
I'm still studying the science that is stance, but i'm determined to get it right.
